Foundation Trained End of Life Companion in Bristol

I completed my Foundation level doula training in the summer of 2026, with the aim of progressing to the end of life doula diploma course in winter 2026/27.
I have been working as a secular funeral celebrant since Jan. 2022 which includes 18 months working as a progressive funeral director, both jobs I love! It is such a privilege to work alongside families at one of the most tender times of our lives, supporting, informing and enabling them to make positive choices for themselves and their dearest ones. Most of my career has been working in participatory arts practice, including 12 years at Southmead Hospital in Bristol as their Arts Manager overseeing the art commissioning programme for their new hospital; whilst in this job I completed an MA Arts Practice (Arts, Health & Wellbeing) with a distinction and have also recently completed a basic counselling skills course.
I have always worked in a person-centred way believing that, with some gentle facilitation, amazing things can happen when people are supported to find their voice and are given some agency, whether that’s creatively or in making informed choices about their end of life and how they might like to be remembered and celebrated, especially in our increasingly secular society.

Joined Find a Doula on 15th October 2026.
