A verified member is a doula whose profile can be matched against recognised external standards. On Find A Doula, verification is currently based on:

  • LWDW training — completion of relevant training with Living Well Dying Well.
  • EOLD UK membership — current membership of End of Life Doula UK.

Automatic membership discount

Verified members receive an automatic 25% reduction on their Find A Doula membership. Once your profile has been verified through the recognised verification process, your subscription is moved to the discounted verified member rate.

This discount is designed to recognise the commitment involved in completing relevant training and maintaining professional membership.

How verification works

  1. You create your Find A Doula profile.
  2. Your profile details are checked against recognised verification sources.
  3. If your training or membership is confirmed, your profile receives verified status.
  4. Your membership rate is automatically reduced by 25%.
