About Me
Hello, I’m Emma, a compassionate end of life companion offering emotional and practical support to individuals and families throughout Gloucester and the surrounding areas.
I began my training in holistic end of life care several years ago and have since supported people through a wide range of experiences in hospice environments, community projects, and one-to-one family support. My background also includes therapeutic listening and wellbeing work, which shapes the calm, person-centred approach I bring to those facing serious illness, ageing, grief, and bereavement.
In addition to my end of life work, I have spent many years supporting families through other major life transitions, which has given me a deep appreciation for the importance of feeling heard, respected, and supported during uncertain times.
My role is to help create steadiness and reassurance when life feels difficult or emotionally heavy. Support might involve helping you think through future wishes, navigating care choices, offering companionship, assisting with conversations around dying, or simply being a consistent presence alongside you and your loved ones.
I have experience working collaboratively with medical teams, carers, and support services, helping ensure that people feel involved in decisions and able to express what matters most to them. I’m also passionate about encouraging more open conversations around death and loss within the wider community.
My approach is gentle, grounded, and adaptable. Every person’s circumstances and beliefs are unique, so I aim to offer support that feels personal, respectful, and genuinely supportive at your own pace.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy art, nature, and family life, all of which help keep me connected to the value of ordinary moments, human connection, and comfort during challenging times.
