Find a Doula welcomes individuals and organisations involved in end of life care, bereavement, wellbeing, education and related support.

Privacy & Data Protection
Before proceeding, please confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and agree that Find a Doula may process the personal information you provide in order to create and manage your membership, publish your profile where applicable, communicate with you about your account, and provide the services available through the platform.
As part of the registration process, Find a Doula will automatically check with participating training providers, professional bodies and membership organisations to determine whether they hold any recognised record of your training, qualifications, certifications or professional membership.
To protect your privacy, this matching process uses a secure one-way cryptographic hash derived from your name and email address. Your plain name and email address are not sent to participating organisations during the matching process. The information returned is used solely to establish and display your verified training, certification or membership status on Find a Doula.

Your profile should give people a clear and honest picture of who you are, the support you offer, your experience and the areas you cover.
Keep your information accurate and up to date. Only include training, qualifications or experience that you can evidence if asked.
If you are linked to an organisation that is also listed on Find a Doula, you can connect your profile to theirs.
By joining, you agree to:
- provide accurate, respectful and professional profile content
- keep your availability and contact details up to date
- avoid misleading claims about your experience, qualifications or services
- communicate with enquiries promptly, respectfully and confidentially
- be clear about fees, availability and the support you offer
- work within your training, experience and competence
- signpost people to appropriate medical, legal, safeguarding or emergency services where needed

Find a Doula is an independent directory. We do not provide medical, clinical, legal, counselling or emergency support.
Members are independent practitioners or organisations. A listing does not mean that Find a Doula employs, regulates, supervises or formally accredits that member.
Do not present yourself as offering medical, nursing, therapeutic, legal or clinical services unless you are appropriately qualified, insured and authorised to do so.
Verification and review
We may review profiles before or after publication and may ask for further information about your training, experience or content.
We may edit, pause, decline or remove profiles that are inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, unsafe or unsuitable for the platform.
Membership
Membership lets you create and manage a professional profile, including your background, support offered, experience, service area and contact details.
Membership does not guarantee enquiries, clients, bookings, search ranking, profile views or a particular level of visibility.

Your profile
Your profile should give individuals and families a clear, honest, and respectful introduction to who you are, the support you offer, your experience, and the areas you cover.
Profiles on Find a Doula are intended to help people better understand the practitioners and support available to them, and to make it easier to connect with professionals whose approach feels right for their circumstances.
If you are part of an organisation that is also a member of Find a Doula, you will be able to link your professional profile to your organisation’s profile on the platform.
If your organisation is not yet a member, we encourage you to ask them to join so that practitioners and organisations can be more easily connected across the platform.
By joining, you agree that:
- all information on your profile will be accurate and kept up to date
- any training, qualifications, or experience listed can be evidenced if requested
- your profile photo and written content will be appropriate, professional, and respectful
- you will not make misleading claims about your services, qualifications, or professional status
- you will update your availability if you are no longer accepting enquiries
Professional conduct
Members are expected to communicate with individuals and families in a calm, respectful, and professional manner.
We ask all members to:
- respond to enquiries within a reasonable timeframe
- treat personal information shared by individuals and families confidentially
- be clear about fees, availability, and the nature of the support offered
- work within the limits of their training, experience, and competence
- signpost people to appropriate medical, legal, or safeguarding services where needed

Find a Doula is an independent professional platform. We do not provide medical advice, clinical care, legal advice, counselling, or emergency support.
Members listed on the platform are independent practitioners. Inclusion on Find a Doula does not mean that a member is employed by us, regulated by us, clinically supervised by us, or formally accredited by us.
Members must not present themselves as providing medical, nursing, therapeutic, legal, or clinical services unless they are separately qualified, insured, and authorised to do so.
Verification and review
To help maintain trust and credibility across the platform, we may review profiles before or after publication.
We may ask members to provide further information about their training, experience, or profile content if clarification is needed.
We reserve the right to edit, pause, decline, or remove profiles that appear inaccurate, inappropriate, misleading, unsafe, or unsuitable for the platform.
Membership
Membership allows you to create and maintain a professional profile on Find a Doula. Your profile may include your background, support offered, training and experience, areas covered, organisational affiliations, contact details, and other relevant information.
Membership does not guarantee enquiries, clients, bookings, profile views, search ranking, or any specific level of exposure.
